Hi I’m Michael! I’m a U.K. based business and community development manager specialising in community growth and business innovation. Good question, a couple of reasons really. Firstly, to help challenge myself and continue to grow my own knowledge. They say you learn the most when you’re teaching others, I think, or maybe I just made that up? Either way, I find it really helpful as it motivates me to keep learning.
The main reason though is to help level the playing field in business. Whether you’re a business vetran with years of experience, or just coming up with your new amazing idea, it is so important now more than ever to get online, and be seen!

When I first moved into my current role, I was surprised at being introduced to so many business owners who not only didn’t have an online presence, but also had very little understanding of the importance, power, and opportunities given by being online, and structuring their business to involve online activity.
My goal is to not only help those who know the importance of a digital presence and who want to learn how to grow one, but also to help convince those who don’t consider it important to reconsider and get online. I want to help people see how easy, fun, and rewarding it can be to get online and tell people…

It’s really free. Like, really really! My aim was to make this academy as accessible to as many people as possible, and money was a barrier I didn’t want to put in people’s way. All of the courses in the free academy are 100% free of charge and available to download and keep forever as PDF’s. All you need to do is sign up with your name and email address.
